Fireplace Fenders
Unless you happen to own an
1880's Home in England, the Club Fender is a rare find today . Even rarer is
finding one to suit American fireplaces.

Originating in Edwardian days in the most
exclusive private men's clubs, the Club Fender soon found its way into the
studies and drawing rooms of England's upper-class homes. Aside from
providing a handsome enhancement for the hearth, it also, being English,
served a purely practical purpose - unobtrusive extra seating in a room full
of guests. It was the focal point and unquestionably the most popular perch
in the place. |
In the
spirit of reviving a truly tasteful tradition, Gallery Metalworks has
faithfully and meticulously re-introduced this product as a modular, yet
exclusive creation.
Each fender is custom-made and hand-crafted to suit customer's
specifications. Adjustable seat tops provide a more precise fit. The base is
crafted in solid hand finished, mirror polished brass and the seats are
available in over 30 shades of the finest leathers. No detail is overlooked
- from the molded base and turned columns to the button tufting with brass
nail trim.
Other Fireplace Fender models are available upon request.
Some variations using Gallery Metalworks standard components are very
attractive, practical and affordable.
