Patio enclosure area with Gallery Metalworks
custom square steel posts and glass clips. Coating is bright red U.V. proof
outdoor powder coated color. Posts are all surface mounted and support
the beautiful cedar trellis system.
THE CHALLENGE
To erect a Boston Pizza standard outdoor patio system that provides
security, wind, insect and dust resistance. It is to be strong, attractive,
modern and suitable for outdoor use, including northern winters.
(Heaters hang from the cedar superstructure. The system must be
built accurately and delivered right on time to meet the glass and cedar
installation perfectly.
THE SOLUTIONS

Steel posts 5" X 5" square
posts, all assembled in the Gallery Metalworks factory.

Retain very accurate
measurements when welding glass clips on in factory, so glass is ordered
while steel fabrication is going on.

Pre-drill all holes for
the same accurate cedar wood erection on site.

|
Surface mount (no core
drilling necessary) techniques employed.

Utilize outdoor long life
U.V. proof powder coating to prevent rust and sun bleaching.
